To become a Surf Instructor you will need the following qualifications:0
- Working with Children Check

- Surf Coach Award (expires annually)
- Senior First Aid Certificate (expires every 3 years with CPR component expires annually)
- Level one coaching Award with Surfing NSW (weekend course) or ISA.

Although the courses not long in length, it is important to bear in mind that these courses are not available every week and the qualifications can take a while to come through, so please allow for that wait time.
