WomEn’s Program

Manly Surf School is stoked to be offering Woman’s Programs for both beginners and intermediates at Manly Beach. Wetsuits and surfboards are included.

The beginners program is for surfers who are first timers, or not at the stage of paddling further out behind the breaking waves. The beginners lessons take place in the whitewater, however when the waves are smaller we can look at paddling further out if possible. In these lessons, we work on improving your pop up, confidence, ocean awareness and how to learn to surf safely.

The intermediate program is for surfers who can paddle further out unassisted and looking to improve their surfing in the unbroken waves. In these lessons we provide advice on catching unbroken waves unassisted, learning to go across on the waves from the takeoff, introductory maneuvers, ocean awareness, confidence, reading the lineup and how to paddle further out on low/high tide.

Lessons: Intermediates: 4 x 90 minute session; Beginner: 4 x 90 minute sessions;
All Equipment Provided: Wetsuits and surfboards will be supplied for the session.
Discounts: Discount for use of the Surfers Gym

If you would like to increase your mobility and fitness for surfing, the Surfer’s Gym are also offering a special to all those who have signed up for a woman’s program at Manly Surf.

A full month of gym and unlimited classes for the discounted price of $180 for the whole month (you receive a discount of $140).
