Surfing, Ocean and Carnival Preparation

Strength and fitness training for distance swimming.

The purpose of this program is to refine the strokes so students swim with ease, efficiency, power and smoothness over greater distances. The program is a combination of pool swimming and surfing, alternating between the two each week.

Swimmers in this course are developing strength and fitness to compete in carnivals. There is a strong empathises on swimming as a skill to be used in other sports. Lessons go for an hour and this is open to swimmers going into primary school.
